You won’t see these being slung in the streets of New York, but if Mama was here, she would let all of New York sample them! She loved sharing her wealth of culinary knowledge; seeing (and tasting!) is believing.
A split Italian sausage is grilled, stuffed into a baguette and topped with Mama Francesca Parmesan & Garlic aioli, shaved red onions, diced tomatoes and a bit of warm cucumbers.
Suggestion: Add some of your favorite hot peppers to the aioli for a spicy twist!
1 recipe Mama Francesca Parmesan & Garlic Aioli
1 Baguette, quartered, split, toasted
4 Italian Sausages, cooked according to package directions
¼ cup Cucumbers, seeded, diced
½ Red Onion, sliced
1 Tomato, diced
1 Tbsp. Butter
For the Aioli:
¼ cup Mama Francesca Parmesan & Garlic
1 cup Mayonnaise
